Trip #3: North Bay For the Day!

1. MUIR WOODS

We'll begin our day by crossing over the Golden Gate Bridge and winding our way through the Headlands down to Muir Woods, where we will walk a well laid pathway (sort of a boardwalk) that meanders through the forest of mighty Redwood trees.

2. Lunch At Sausalito

After walking through the Muir Woods, we'll head over to the gorgeous little seaside village of Sausalito, where we'll stroll along the shore and take in the yachts, cute little shops, and finally have some well-deserved lunch at Scoma's, one of the bay areas finest seafood restaurants.  If seafood isn't your cup of tea, there are other dishes available as well.

Scomas has the BEST view of San Francisco, across the bay

Trip #2: Santa Cruz

1. Beautiful Highway 17

Winding over the Santa Cruz Mountains, the lush forest over and around us is breathtaking

2. Santa Cruz Boardwalk

You don't have to ride on the rollercoaster, or any rides at all to enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of one of California's enduring attractions.

Trip #1: Monterey for the Day!

The Itinerary:

1. Monterey

If you love nature and the ocean as much as we do, you'll get a real kick out of the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

2. The 17 Mile Drive
The drive from Monterey to Carmel is amazing.  Some sights you'll see:

3. Carmel By the Sea

This town is legendary for it's quaint little houses and shops.  Built a hillside looking down over the ocean.  Lots of little shops and cafes are sprinkled throughout nooks along the main road.

Your Hotel

Extended Stay Suites

Extremely close to our house (2 miles), safely nestled in a clean and modern commercial area with restaurants and even a grocery store within easy walking distance.

We'll get you stocked up on any groceries (drinks, food) you need when you check in.  You won't be at your hotel much, but when you are, you will be very comfortable.  Extended Suites have their own built in kitchens, so it's more like an apartment for you while you're away from home.  Definitely very practical.
